Should I buy this M3?
thanks. there def three sick m3s up for sale...one a dinan sc'd, one a dinan package...and then mine an all out NA car. all beasts in their own way.
I wouldn't buy anything from that seller. Something seems shady.
1. Very evasive/defensive fielding questions
2. "In a hurry" to sell a car that will require a lot of due diligence
3. He doesn't even have pictures of the "current set-up" on the car.
If you bought this car, you would be buying it based on your faith in the company that built/tuned it. If you know them well and trust them then jump in. If you don't know them, RUN!

Please let me know what appears to be shady about me selling my vehicle. I'm open to listening to your input. I have never been evasive or defensive about anything in regards to my vehicle. I promise you if you're looking for an answer it's on the forums. I don't hide from anything. I tell it exactly as it is.
And if you take a close look...pictures of the current set-up are online in both threads. Anything else you have for me...
How in the Hell do I appear as shady? WTF are you people talking about. I'm roughly an hour or so away from you in Alabama. Hit me up via P.M. if you'd like to meet up. I can show you that I'm no shady individual. I'm even open to you getting a look at the vehicle. I hate Bull**** like the crap you guys are spewing because it is quite simply without an ounce of fact.
I've been absolutely open about any and every problem that I've had with my M3. If that's shady then I'll be that. If you really are interested in how the car runs...contact Momentum BMW in Birmingham, Alabama...ask for Rory. He had a ride in the car today. Momentum is an Authorized Dinan dealer...I don't bull**** anyone. The car is an absolute beast.

The agreement was to trade my G35 plus 22K.
My G35 is an absolutely cherry car. It was the only one in the country that had the RAS, aero package, performance wheel and sport tuned suspension package. It also has every available option (premium package, moonroof, premium stereo, clear bra etc.) except nav.
It has 8K in upgrades including tthe best available engine management system and a custom exhuast. It was tuned by one of the best tuners in the country. OEM G 35's dyno in the low 220's at the wheel and it is very hard to get more power out of them w/ out FI. My car now dynos at 282 rwhp. This car runs absoluetly PERFECTLY and I only drive it to and from work which is a straight shot all highway (reverse commute out of the suburns of Houston) Naseem claims that my car is only worth 28K (I would never sell it for that) and now wants more money.

I contacted Sean and let him know my findings. I asked him to meet me at my asking price of $53,000. This means that Sean would have to come up with an additional 3 grand to make the deal. I personally am not in the business of giving anything away. I'd like to sell the car. But I'm not willing to sell myself short to move it.
Now it appears that Sean and I aren't willing to compromise. That's life! I have a $40,000 car with $50,000 in moddifications; Sean was trading a $28,000 car with $8,000 in modifications plus $22,000...do the math. G35's are depreciating like hotcakes with the introduction of the new G37. I recently went through a similar issue with an 06 330i I owned. I paid $44,000 for an 06 330i in November of 05. I sold the car for $33,000 after the 335 came out. I now have a 335 and the sour taste in my mouth from the 330. Lesson Learned!
When you learn a lesson you don't set yourself up to go down that road again. You learn from your mistakes and move on.
I asked for an additional 3 grand to make the deal right. I acknowledged that I made a mistake on what the G35 was worth initially. I am in charge of protecting my pockets. My car is simply awesome...it is the nastiest E46 M3 with a Supercharger on the roads today. If someone wants it they're going to have to pay for it. Again I don't have a damn thing to give away. NOTHING
Now if you want to keep running around posting as if you're some kind of victim...go right ahead and knock yourself out. Have at it!
Here is the deal folks. I made an honest mistake. I initially thought the G35 was worth around mid 30k's. Again this was my mistake. I made a few calls around town and a few visits to local dealerships to review the market. What I found was no one was willing to offer more than 28k for an 06 G35 like the one listed above.

Naseem,
I would be the first to back up a BHS car (as I've used Joel on a couple of my M3's), but backing out of the deal over 3k isn't good business. I understand you trying to justify it by what "other dealers offer on the G35", but the fact of the matter is you aren't a dealer. This is a private party trade. Try and go get a number from a dealer on your F/I M3 and see if they give you anywhere near $50k for your car.
Believe me your car is a beast I would just keep it. Too much blood, sweat, and tears are caught up in it.

Actually, I tried to compromise and upped my offer to 23k...Naseem didn't counter, he just went off...by the way, that is exactly what he did to Joel of BHS. Joel is a highly respected builder.
Joel was making progress on his car...remember, it was an R and D project and R and D projects take time. 3 stage 1's are running flawlessly. This car was beeing converted to a stage 2...uncharted territory. All of the sudden while developing stage 2, Naseeem snapped on Joel, demanded that the car be finished immediately and took the car back. I was willing to help Naseem out by taking the car off his hands, returning it to Joel and PATIENTLY (the operative word here and one quality Naseem does not posses) waiting for the person who originally built and designed the car to finish it properly. It would have cost me around 7 thousand dollars to have the car completed properly.
It should be clear to everyone that Naseem is just a complete nightmare to deal with.

I have readily admitted on several occasions that I made a mistake on the deal with Sean. How many times do I have to state that before it sinks in? I'm seriously wondering! I know 3 grand seems marginal; but I have absolutely nothing to give anyone. I'm given my all to this project and I finally have it where it should have been months ago. It took quite a bit of coin and plenty sleepless days and nights to get it right. I went through this with other shops. I couldn't rely on BHS to get it done.
Now on to numbers...I know that I could only get fair market value for my vehicle right now. I have maintained a very good relationship with local dealerships and have friends with specialty shops throughout the south. I could have easily placed the vehicle for sale or on consignment through one of them. I took a chance on selling over the forums. No issues...
Now as far as the car being a beast...this thing is absolutely unreal. I welcome a challenge from any E46 M3 on pump-gas. Bar-none...I'm not scared in the least bit.
What I wish some folks would understand is the following:
If you see that a shop can't fix your issues; Don't be afraid to move your vehicle somewhere else.
If something fails on your vehicle after a shop has worked on it for several months/ year or so and the shop doesn't offer to fix it. Recognize what you have and speak about your experience.
Don't be afraid to seek out help. What's strange is the fact that the shop that corrected my issues was so damn close to home! I spent thousands of dollars and countless hours attempting to rectify issues I should never have experienced.
Even the best shops have points where they go past their potential. I had to find a fabrication shop to fix a problem technicians and mechanics can only dream or shoot in the dark at.

I'm freaking sick and tired of your "I'm a victim" spill. Give it a damn rest.
I posted my dealings with Joel and BHS...that is exactly how it went down. I have no reason to trump up any allegations on Joel and crew...I told it just as it was. Joel will even admit to it. Word for freakin Word!
I picked my car up from BHS in July of 06 as a Stage 1 proto-type...It was shredding belts then. I returned from the Middle East in February of 07. I went to BHS along with Full Throttle Media during the middle of February 07...The car was still shredding belts.
Now goddamnit I paid well over $40,000 for modifications. The damn car still had the same issues that it had the last time I was there 7 months prior. What the hell would you do in that situation? Don't you dare attempt to judge me until you take a walk in my shoes.
I never confronted Joel about the issues with the car. I quietly removed my vehicle and the small amount of parts I could remove from BHS. I realized that Joel was unable to fix the issues I was having with the vehicle. Why in the Hell would I leave my car there racking up additional shop charges etc.? For what? To give Joel a bit more publicity! I don't freakin think so.
Now you want to talk about sticking by a shop and not loosing your cool? This **** happened back in February; I didn't post about any of the issues until a month ago. And during the time I posted; I never blasted Joel or BHS. I still have quite a bit of respect for the crew at BHS and namely Joel. But at one point...SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE!
With all of this being said...do us all a favor and give it a rest. If you're that hurt about the issue; give me a call. I'm pissed at you for attempting to strong-arm me via the internet. You have to understand that I simply don't give a rats *** about an internet forums perception of me. I tell it just how it is and will not sugar coat a damn thing.
regards,
Naseem

And to sit here and lie in public...Stating "Naseem never countered". Are you serious. My counter was you come up with the three grand. You came on the forums and began posting...have you forgot about that. All that I have posted was in response to your posts. You called me down...I'm answering. I don't have a damn thing to hide.
What's clear to everyone is the following:
1. Sean is uncomfortable when things don't go as planned
2. Sean will stretch the truth a bit when things don't go as planned
3. Sean will become judgemental when things don't go as planned
4. Sean will attempt to show himself as a victim when things don't go as planned.
OK...I think this thread calls for a song (to Lynyrd Skynyrds Sweet Home Alabama)
Big belts they keep a shreddin
Couldn't drive the car in the rain
Wouldn't sell on M3 forum
Can't unload it once again
And I think its a sin
Sweet home Alabama...
Where Naseem's M3 is blue
Sweet home Alabama
BHS's time table made him stew
Now the cars still shredding belts, boo boo boo
Joel he did what he could do
Now Nasseems rants do not bother me
Does your conscience bother you? Tell the truth
Sweet home Alabama...
Where Naseem's M3 is blue
Sweet home Alabama
BHS's time table made him stew
Birmingham they have a fab shop, woo woo woo
They have been known to fab a hose or two
(Yes they do!)
Lord they do some fine tig welds
But the cars still runnin like poo
Sweet home Alabama...
Where Naseem's M3 is blue
Sweet home Alabama
BHS's time table made him stew
Now Naseem's been banned from 6speed, boo hoo hoo
Cause he had a fight or two
Actually he went completely mental
So what was a mod to do?

Don't try to sell your car here if you don't give a rat's *** about our perception of you. We are the market where you're attempting to sell your car. Dr. Jitsu is a 3rd parties unbiased POV. You don't make an agreement and then back out on it because you made a $3k boo boo.
