Mr. allen what you implying?
BTW those are Neez QD7 wheels. Just because it's parked outside Evosport and it's their car, does not mean those are Evosport wheels.
Also I highly doubt Evosport would sell a cast wheel for any car.

Man! First time I've been wrong...

in the last hour or so....I do wonder if it's a crosss badging thing.
But I still have to say, simply because a wheel is cast doesn't make it garbage. Lots of quality OE (Porsche, Mercedes, BMW, Audi) and aftermarket wheels out there that are cast. Weight is not the only factor--finish, proper fitment, runout, and whether or not the company will take care of problems. Given the fact that the same distributor has just been flat out busted faking Eisenhaus exhaust, do you feel comfortable giving them several thousand dollars for a set of wheels?
Go ahead, I"m out.

Those wheels on Evosports M5 are their old wheels which were Neez! They now rock a set of Vorstiners which are NOT cast but infact 2pc forged!

Here's a pic of their current setup:

Yes it does matter whether a wheel is forged or cast. You say you're so into the Euro and Japanese stuff , well do you care about weight?

I've encountered NO company with the customer service of HRE, not that I've needed it ever. You may have anecdotal bull**** stories about what may have happenned to someone.
Any day any time I will put up an HRE wheel against any of your so called wheels. You can not spend the money, fine no problem but the HRE quality I'll pay. I've been buying HRE wheels since 1996 and never a problem.
You want light wheels (oh yea you think a cast wheels is light), 2 months ago I put a set of Dymags on a GT3. Oh yea again, those are crap wheels also.
Maybe you bought some crap knock-off wheel pretending to be an HRE.
Why did you not go back to HRE present your problem w/ the wheel. I guarantee you the problem would have been fixed if your story is true.

Those out there reading this that know wheels and know HRE are aware that they stand behind their product. Your story is just that, a story.

When in combat inservice to this country I was told, "do not write a check with your mouth that you can not cash with your ***".
I've said enough to you.

GT3AirborneRanger

Why do you play the "combat for my country" card in a debate over wheels? I noticed you did that on the M5 board as well....many have served in elite units and fought for this country and have no need to bring into a discussion that has no bearing on military service.

It's disrespectful to those have served in and out of combat. Lastly its been my exp. that those who have to frequently bring it up have validity issues as well. Give it a rest.

Enjoy your HRE wheels and leave military service out of it.

The Advan wheel you mention how much do they pay you for your bull****. Back it up!! Say something about the wheel, ie. design, weight and cost. I bet they look like ****.

You original comments about an HRE cracking at 1000 miles or whatever crap you said is total bull**** by YOU.

Give some facts about your Advan wheels that I won't demolish with a monoblok HRE or a Dymag. Do these advans weigh 16 lbs?

I have truly wasted too much time with you and you wouldn't know quality if it bit you in the ***.

GT3AirborneRanger
You pretty much have zero credibility if you have never even heard about Advan....

btw, these CAST Advan RS rims weight about 15 lbs. not to mention perfect quality. i'm not even going to bring up Volks since those are forged.

In 17 x 8".

In 18 x 9" it's 17.8 lbs.

Do they even make the Advan RS wide enough for the 997 GT3 (12" wide rear) shown in the picture?

Anyone that knows about wheels will not utter HRE and NEEZ in the same sentence. The only issue that I see currently is the fact that Eisenhaus is the sole distributor of Neez wheels in the US. Yep...the same Eisenhaus that has been ripping off customers for years. Kinda hard to purchase from those class acts and expect to get actual items from the manufacturer.

I missed all of the arguing earlier...hate that. Especially when I was the first one here to openly state the Neez and HRE aren't even remotely in the same class. And they're not.

HRE's are fully forged...LOL! That's definitely a knee slapper. Don't even get me started.

Crea nice photoshop buddy. Be specific this 15 lb advan wheel is a 17x8 ,huh! Tell the truthabout the wheel dimension. What you said suits your inaccurate statement.
As somebody else asked are they made in 19x12? Probably doubt it.
You can go ahead and put that cheap junk on your Porsche.

Evosports car is one of my favorite M5s! Prefer the QD7s on it, but would have also kept the NEEZ centercap instead of the BMW one!
