Impressive -- but isn't that flywheel hp? I get that dyno type confused.

They're all at the wheel unless they take the motor out.
That engine's putting out around 325-335 at the flywheel based on those numbers. It's been pretty much accepted that BMW has been under-rating this engine.

Underrated, yes. But no 335i has dyno'd this stock. Normal is 270-280 stock. Can't imagine this would be MORE, especially with it's redesigned exhaust.
What is the correction?

279 is not more than 280.

True. I thought I read 297. Oops.
295tq is still more than I've seen on a 335i stock, but I guess that all makes it more realistic.

The correction factors to get crank HP range from 1.15 to 1.21 depending on the dyno.

stock 335s put down about 280 hp/280 tq to the wheels...i believe there have been dynos a little higher too for the 335 ~290.

That's drivetrain loss.. I thought correction factors were different on a dyno.

You mean SAE correction? That's done on the dyno.

Very good numbers. That is a great car, especially with the trick differential they're equipped with.
