i'm pretty shocked that the C63 is that close to the M3 on a road course. the M3 definately has the advantage on the turns but the C63 makes up that lost on the straights. u can't lose w/ either one, just a matter of personal preference.

C63 is amazing! but with 450Hp I would like to have a sequential gearbox! not a fast automatic! AMG needs to improve their gearbox!
at home we had an E55 and SLK 55.....very fast cars! but not funnys to drive!

Exactly, and i'll take control, it's easier to improve on power and tweak control than improve control and tweak power. Besides I perfer control anyway.

if you look how long the straights are on that track I'm surprised the M tied the AMG... it must have made up some good time around the corners cause that AMG is a bat out of hell on the straights.

wait until 7 speed M3 comes out... tighter gear ratios should make for faster acceleration...

also Hockenheim is a high speed track... on the RING the M3 would be faster cause its a much better handler...

Look at the speeds of each car around the track. The M3 is faster everywhere except in the end of the long straight.
