please post pictures of tastefully modded m6's
i'll never understand why some guys buy aero lip parts like the trunk lid and front lip and not paint it the same color as the body. the whole point of these parts is to make the car look visually lower, wider, as one part and this is best accomplished by painting it the same color as the body.
i have yet to see a very clean, nice m6 where it makes me want to say.. well done.

Well the back seats in either car are really worthless IMO. The M6's might be slightly more functional since you can actually put people in there but I never try.
Overall driving experiences are quite different. The 997TT is modded with ECU, headers, and exhaust and has close to 600 hp at the crank. Its a more violent car from a launch and has some amazing pulling power to speeds up to and over 160 mph.
The M6 is a premediated speeder, its requires you to be in the right rpm range and drive the car very hard to get the most out of it. From a dig the car is not as fast as the TT obviously but the 6 screams on the highway with its 8500 (ECU) RPM cap and 7 speeds. Its a true manual so it has no parasitic loss that slush boxes have. I find myself reaching and exceeding 160 mph daily. It also sounds amazing with the modded exhaust; the sound is like a symphony.
Handling, there is really no comparo as the 997 beats the M6 but the 4k lb M6 holds its own especially now with the coils.
In reality when I drive the P car for a few days I miss the M6 and vice-a-versa. If both cars were stock, Id want the P Car in your situation but modded (the P Car is close to 600 hp and the M6 is close to 550 hp) I would keep the M6 as a daily driver. Its cost is far less and the exhaust note is just shocking. There are interior creature comforts that I need like IPOD and Bluetooth which requires aftermarket adds with the 997TT. I know the P car would win in a dig and rolling race up to 160 but any rolling race after 160 would be more of toss up IMO.

I have ridden in each (driven M6) but both were stock - and honestly, i agree 100% with this report.
Awesome cars Vic....maybe a cool pic with both of them???

I added on the lip because the front lower fascia of the M6 was incomplete- not that I wanted it lower or wider but it just seems to be lacking. I feel the carbon fiber lip compliments the roof of the M6. I didnt change my trunk and dont plan on it.
While you may feel that aero parts are made to make the car look visually lower and wider, that is/was not my intention but you are entitled to your opinion as am I.

i'm sure you're happy with it, but it's not done up right in my eyes.
You are absolutely correct- I am very happy with it. I do appreciate your feedback.
j/k, ur entitle to ur opinion

Thanks and thanks to all the posters for the comps on the car.
