Glad the '09 I have on order is for my wife........hate to think I was buying a chick car

Yeah, she loves convertibles. I was ready to get her an SL55 but she saw the M3...test drive.....hunt over. Can't wait for delivery.

 

I love the new coupes but struggle a bit with the vert... black out the chrome and make a couple of tasteful mods though and the thing would be a beast

 

Just doesnt look right

 

Not sure why most dislike the car... I think it could be the color, other M3's received mostly positive comments

it's because on car forums there's a mob mentality. dudes love to climb on top of each other high fiving. i think the car looks great.

 

its because of exactly what ben choi said...mob mentality. they worship the m3 blindly . one guy on m3forum a while back said this: "Unlike our animal M3's which are pure-bred race cars". that
could not be any further from the truth as its one of THE stupidest comments ive ever heard.
the classic bmw arguement...'our car is faster in a straight'...if they arent, then they say 'well lets see what happens when we hit the twisties'...and if they arent there, they say 'well at least we drive a bmw'...and in cases of the higher end cars (Porsche, Ferrari, etc) they dont win any of those!
the new m3 sedan and vert look like terrible, plain and simple. the coupe is nicest but not anything to write home about.

 

OMG, that means I just ordered my wife an ugly car.........I guess I better call and see if I can cancel the order. Thank God you posted, hope it's not too late .

 

IMO it is an ugly car. If you like guys like it, good for you.

 

i cannot get over how it looks so much like the 335. I think it needs to distance itself more to the 335s. I have been trying to love this car but I can't the white M3s are the nicest thou.

 

Red never really sat well on a M3. The red color looks really horrible on the new E93 and on top of that it's a convertible.
