BMW has 0.9% Bought a 528i

Just a heads up BMW has 0.9% this month on the 1/3/5/7's. I picked up a white 528i for a daily, with just leather and lights ~6K off and only about 1020$ over the life of the loan for finance costs. Cannot knock that with a stick.

Drove the new M3 and in my opinion its horrible, small cramped and way overpriced. I thought it had gotten a lot softer from what I have heard. Got them down to ~2K under invoice but it was not the car for me and my very bad back. I though I could use it as my fun car and hauler but its not meant to be.

M5 is very nice but the range on the tank would mean that I am filling up every other day and its way over the top for a daily/client hauler. The 335i is still a fast car but not worth the expense for my uses.

iDrive is no where as bad as the magazines state and the ride is sublime. Bought this to ferry clients around so big, soft and not so flashy worked out well. ~33mpg on the freeway and I can drive for almost a hour without my back screaming at me. The bluetooth integration is way cool and the stereo is pretty darn good as well. If it holds up like my 850 its going to be a great little runabout.

I got it in white with Dakota brown leather seats and it looks sharp. But the financing sealed the deal.

BMW sales reported sales drop 33% in the 2nd quarter. if it keeps up the chief warns that it could affect its earning guidance for the year.

I've never seen BMW in such a world of hurt in recent memory....It is def a buyers market out there now

If they are willing to take a loss on a car like they did on mine something is up. 0.9% and under dealer hold back is unheard of. If they are shooting them selves in the foot with that interest rate we will have to see. Lots of buyers there for the higer dollar stuff but all only buying with that rate. They had 9 total 5 series and at least 17 M3's on the lot. The 7's are stuffed in the back but selling according to the wall. And finance and service pays the bills.

200$ a year on finance collecting on most of these car's will drive them to bankruptcy or prices will rise significantly for the 09's adjusted for the euro.

Finance savings plus reduction and tax write offs are about 18K total. If the M3 had this deal they would be flying out of the dealerships. Bunch of people looking at them but every last one I talked to said the 335i was just a better car for any type of street use plus better financing.

Sending it off to have the badging removed the windows tinted and then some pictures. The new lights are really good and the soft shut doors are amazing once you get used to them. Only bad thing is the truck release on the key fob and getting used to the two position turn signals.

Two position turn signals? What kind of feature is that?

Yeah 5 series are nice vehicles, with the deal you got the car is an outstanding value!
