I'm don't think anyone has released an official supercharger system. With that said, VF Engineering is currently developing a kit.
I'm sure someone has made a custom kit somewhere out there...

A supercharged 550 would be a BEAST. That would be amazing.

VF enginerring is the only company working on a kit.

Alpina has factory B5 & B7's that come supercharged. But then again they use the 4.4L engine.

Nicky Black and TahBoss are correct. The cost of a 550i plus a SC'er will exceed the price of an M5. I do not see the 550i achieveing 500 bhp with thr SC'er. Maybe 480 bhp.

I would rec. a wet-nitrous system if you're looking for more power and want a reliable system. You can spray that motor all day with the proper setup.

M5 is not the best choise, it have problems with transmision SMG and more, a E92 M3 with new DCT transmission it's much better, or 6 speed manual.

plus all the rest of the things that come in a M5 that a 550 (which is still a great car) lacks. tranny, suspension, brakes, styling, etc....

I've looked into it before when I got my 550, but then I realized I could have just gotten myself an M5...lol, so I didn't bother.
