+1 I agree

M3 or M5?
Well for me it is obvious with the M5.
I must say they are different cars (classes) and I would not compare.
There are reasons for having either one.
Both have been and are great cars.

I would rather have a 335 than the M3. And the M5 over both. Plus you can't compare the M6 to any of them!

thats my major gripe with the m3...no torque.
couldnt find any good deals yet on used m5s so for now thats out.
the c63, you get more power and torque for less money.
but the bmw has dct and better handling.
which do you think is a better a daily driver, i assume an m3 coupe with edc would be the smoothest.
also does anybody know , for the usb ipod in on the m3, does it displau all your music to the navi main screen so you can go thru playlists and all that without looking at the ipod>?
thanks

Yes it does. Every FACTORY iPod USB adapter will display song info, playlist, artist, album name etc. the same as your own iPod. The iPod it self goes in the center counsole. No need to use the iPod for anything.

That is a hard question to answer. No doubt the M5 is a dream, and the new M3 is so sick. But the new 5 series will be coming out soon, so choose wisely.

I'd take the M5, then switch to M3, then back to the FXX M5 in the future!

two different cars, but the m5 was my choice (i have two kids). there should be a ton of used m5's floating around for cheap. i'm suprised you can't find a deal.

ok thks for the help on the ipod, i figured it would display all the info...
is the idrive any worse than lets say comand? if your good with tech its just a learning curve i assume.
i know the m5 is great, but maybe i will move up.
personally i like coupes...and the dct on the m3 was a blast.
thanks again.
if i find a nice deal on an m5 for the same money it wouldnt be a hard choice...m5.

M5 hands down. Once you drive an M5 you can't go back. The V10 sound alone will win you over. It's faster and it is just as nimble. The M5 is much more composed on the highway.
