The 335 has a lower rev range and is turbocharged, it doesn't do better, it is simply different. The M3 has significantly shorter gearing that more than makes up for it and 90% of its torque is available from 2200 RPM on.
The 2 little low pressure mitsu turbos in the n54 setup are unfortunately ridiculously small so they are supposed to be at full spool around 2200rpm if memory serves. The 335 also has more torque at the lower end of the rev band so it pulls a little more than the M3. There's no doubt the M3 is a great car, I seriously considered switching to an M back when the APR was 0.09% on them, but on the test drive I felt for everyday use, the 335 would be a bit more practical. I still love the M though. In fact I'll most likely go talk to my CA again this week when I bring my car in to get the wheel and tire warranty repair for my rims to see if I can get a good deal on an '09 E92 M3. Apparently they can be had now for a measly 55k with some negotiating.

I feel for everyday use, the M3 is more satisfying. The torque on paper difference means nothing in the real world, as the M3 has more torque at the axle due to the gearing.

Yes, everything can be had for ridiculously cheap now.

+1 on the satisfying lol. I was blown away when I test drove the M3. Sometimes though for instance like this morning, I was glad I had an xi. Snow and ice in a slanted driveway in a small town where snowplows don't really shovel that well = pretty bad situation haha.

I just forgot. I saw a twin turbo M6 last month in L.A... Sorry, but I cannot say anything untill the owners bust it out.

Are you talking about ASR Engineering from Miami? I heard they had an M6 project car they were working on a TT setup for. Apparently, so was G-power.

I like the idea of the M6, but, it is too big and heavy to be a true sports car. A fantastic GT car for sure but if I were to drive something that big, it would have to have 4 doors. I'd go with the M5. I'd miss that sexy CF roof though.

Having said that, for 2 doors, I'd take an AW on Fox Red E92 M3 with the CF roof!

i would go E92 over m3 without the supercharger just because it has all the luxury you need plus its doesnt weigh as much, less cost to maintain, many mods will come out etc.
