I got an E46 M3 SMG for my fiance to drive. I figured that it would help her get into performance driving, and at the same time would give me a good track car to drive when my others where down. Overall the plan has worked out very well, except that I no longer really enjoy the SMG as much on track. She loves driving it around and normally drives it in automatic mode, occatinoally she'll go into sequential. Overall I think it served it's purpose and makes both worlds happy, but I now want some slicks and bigger brakes for it and that's always when I'm reminded it's her daily driver.
