I have been running JB3 for almost 10k miles (and on crappy California 91 octane) and been 100% satisfied and problem free. It's pretty much the best mod for the n54 there is. Period.

How extensive is your experience with the procede that you can claim this, and what list of other mods are you comparing it to?

I dunno but I was one of the first people with Procede and had over 9K miles with that tune on the car I was pretty hooked up with Shiv I even had the opportunity to run maps that weren't even released publicly. I have even had Shiv's cell number before I deleted it. Shiv is good people and all but Once I tried JB Out there was no looking back. And I know of alot of people that feel the same way about it. Maybe if the pricing was equal then I can say it's either or personal preference but the Procede is like 2 times the price last time I checked and the JB is better IMO no doubt. If I still had a car with an N54 I'd be rocking Terry's tune all day long no questions asked. Lets just say when I got my *** handed to me in my well modded 335 with a race gas map that was in testing vs Terry's almost stock 335 by car lengths. I pretty much had to give it a try and once I did it was a done deal. I know there are lots of other tunes out ther for the 335 and really the closest competitor to the JB3 is Procede V3 but even If I had to pay $3k for the JB3 or get the V3 for half that I'd still get the JB3.

I did not try JB3 on my car yet,but I have read a lot about it...

I did have some problems with the Procede and even though it was a very strong and agressive tune,I put it outof my car because I felt that it would do harm on my car if driven with it for a sustained period of time.

Now that I have put it out and am driving stock,I can hear my turbos whining and my motor is stuttering at idle..
fu*k..
that`s the thing with Procede...if you plug one loom into the wrong slot you have a problem...also overboost protection was not available for a long period of time,so with agressive mapping you risk damages to the engine.
I did it once and now I do have a problem...don`t know what it is yet,but I`ll find out soon.
The SH*T is,that my car probably won`t have a warranty on it anymore, because the BMW techs can read out any codes that came up with their diagnostic tool...don`t know if I can "hide" it or delete the codes before going to the dealer.

Anyway,I guess this spring I`ll give JB3 a try.

or switch to a M3 or P-Car

Awesome, thanks a lot for the info. It seems like a lot of people running JB3 just say its the best thing ever but do not really have anything to compare it to..its nice to hear from someone who had experience with both.
