My new recession car

Well, after selling the 350z I have been itching to wrench on something with decent performance and affordable.

I settled on an e36 M3, I searched most of the East Coast for a well documented car and one that I liked. I was open to almost any color combo and year, however Boston Green/Modena was my first choice.

Mods to be installed or on the way - New rotors, pads, lines, bushings, headlights, clear corners, xbrace, e46 shift ****, custom leather boots, pedals, and coilovers. That's it.

For a 12 year old stock car, this thing really rocks. Very impressive.

Anyways, thought I'd share.

Thanks bro...I saw your car listed and believe it or not it was considered. I had a tough time deciding between an e46 or an "upper" range e36M. Ultimately, I'd spend more money on everything with an e46. With that said, I'll probably move into one eventually.

I'll spill the beans, I paid 12k, above BB. It was listed higher, the range right now is 7-18k. Some people are smoking crack with e36M asking prices, this car was well maintained, low miles, garaged, and I bought from an enthusiast that had a few M's. I wanted the color combo and after months of being patient, this was the best I could find.

Looks lovely! Are you a member of the BMWCCA? I hope to see you and that car at area events. Coming from a new E46 M3 owner, who had a similar decision to make and went the other way.

Wow that is awesome. My favorite color combination, I tried to find one in that condition but had no luck. Make sure you let me know if you ever decide to part ways.
