Windshield Replacement

Today on the fwy in my M3 my windshield was hit by a rock leaving a fairly small, but deep divot in front of the driver seat. I believe it will have to be replaced and not prepared. My BMW dealer says that due to the rain sensors in the windshields and the way it is installed they should do the replacement rather then a mobile service. I'm inclined to agree with them. Any comments? If anyone recommends a mobile installer do you have a name for one - I'm in So Calif. Thanks very much.
