NEW 750Li Question

I am getting ready to pull the trigger on a BMW 750Li. The car is loaded but does not have the Sirius Sat radio option. The car does have the premium sound package however. Can I subscribe to Sirius on my own? Does the sound system come pre wired for SAT radio? I think its a $350 option on a new one which includes 1 year of service. Thanks in advance.

bmwfan996rookie is infamous around these parts
If you can PM me last 7 of the vin - i can tell you if the car came factory equipped w Sirius SAT Radio module. Other than that if it has Premium sound - i would assume it would be prewired for Sirius Module (Used one for my 2006 7series ran me $320 on ebay, installed it myself (trunk dep next to navi and DVD changer, also had to play to get antenna mounted somewhere smart and not outside)), all you have to do is get the module and subscribe to service. Done!

Do you mind what is the ball park lease for this vehicle? I heard there was a lease deal on those cars these days.

BMW is offering $6000 dealer cash on remaining 09's, but that ends today 2/1/2010. I assume BMW will provide and extend this program till the 09's are gone, but who knows.... Ballpark, $94k MSRP car, $7500 out of pocket to include all fees, first payment and VA sales tax. 36 month term 12k miles per year at $1105 per month. I think I can wiggle a bit more out of them but this is where I stand with my dealer, not bad for a $94,000 car in my opinion.....

Anybody else hear their engine wine when on the gas especially on SPORT mode?

Also when not in SPORT mode you have to push the gas pedal like 2 inches plus before a response ... Shifting is a bit choppy and clumsy.

Try it before you buy it.

I sell BMW and it seems you got a very good deal. Good job getting it now because it seems like BMW has learned to produce so many so I think the deal you got might be one of the best offered on the F01.

Also the SAT radio can be added. I am not sure if they have the module and or parts available for the F01 yet. If you do add it through your BMW dealership you will also get a year subsciption for free as if you had it in the car you purchased. If you need anything else feel free to ask me and I will do the best I acn to answer.
