Sold My 135I, What Should I Get?

I want a 4 door. BMW M5, 335I, or Audi A4/S4 Avant???

Not even close. The E60 M5 all the way. I love the high revving S85.
btw you didn't sell it to someone in South Florida? Just today a beautiful black 135 very similar to your project 135 wanted to contest me in my M5 on the turnpike. It was black. Black wheels w/ red time attack stripe, CF vented hood and CF CSL trunklid. Looked real sweet.

I went with an '09 335 LCI (with JB3 2.0 and BMS DCI that is putting out nearly 400 whp and 410 ft lbs tq) for the interim period to hold me over till the new M5 is released. If either of these is reflective of what the new M5 is going to end up looking like...I will once again be an M5 owner.

Sure they have 4 doors but the M5 is on a very different level...

The 335 and new S4 are both very nice performers and when modded can put out performance numbers that match, and in some cases, better the M5.

I'm not comparing the 335/S4 to the M5. I know what the M5 has and can do. I owned one. But if the OP wants something that gets better than 10 mpg, likes new technology (see upgraded Idrive on 335) and may not enjoy the SMG then the other two choices are very good.

I must say --- the M5 at WOT is pure sex.
