Auto stop/start function on M3

I ordered a new M3 today. I wanted a 6-speed as opposed to the automatic. I drove the automatic that was on the lot and I noticed that there was a button that allowed me to turn of the auto stop/start function. The salesperson had no idea if this button was on the manual model. I want to turn that function off. Anyone with a '11 6-speed out there who can tell me?

Thank you

I have one on hold for me DCT 2011...from my understanding it is always off. push the button and the function turns on. the light actually means its off. wierd for an M car...
i do hope this is the case, bc if i always have to trun it off it will drive me nuts...and prolly a deal breaker for me to even buy the car

I think he's asking if the 6speed M's have the on/off button. Not whether its on or off
