Need a little help guys

Hi, this is my first post and I have a question. My local shop changed the oil in my M6, and they poured in Castrol Syntec 5W-30 instead of the recommended 10W-60. What do I need to do? Will it harm my engine?

Thank you so much for your help guys, really appreciate it!

Ed

Tell them to change the oil. It's for the best.

You can just drain it and get another oil change. Or at least I would...

Option 1. Have the original shop correct their mistake immediately.

Option 2. Find a new shop, and have them change the oil to the correct weight immediately.
