Baseline numbers shown above is on a stock vehicle using 93 octane. Furthermore, depending on software version, the BMW 1M will top off at it's safe limit which is nearly 400hp.
By reprogramming the BMW 1M diagnostically (OBD II port), approximate gains achieved amounted to 65hp & 96lbs tq bringing total output to nearly 400hp and 428lbs tq. Furthermore, depending on software version, speed limiter may be removed. Over the tuned file, customer can approximately acquire an additional 6-7% in power with the replacement of an upgraded intercooler. Upgraded intercooler allows for much more power throughout the power band where the stock intercooler is insufficient.
