1991 850i E31: Who says you cant give an old dog new kicks ?!?

We had a customer come in looking for some new wheels for his '91 850i.

[/url]

We thought an updated look on the car would be good, so a set of Miro 111 in Silver/Machined went on. The fronts are 18x8.5, with 235/40/18, and the rears are 18x9.5 with 265/35/18. They are still really concave, and have room for spacers.

Car is stock height, no rubbing, and handles great now.

Love the car, love the wheels!!! I really thought something over the top and really garish was going to be mounted to that classic BMW... But you guys mounted a nice tasteful set of wheels! Well done.

These are awesome, very exotic looking. I drove one a few years back, they're decently quick.

ah yes, the E31 series

In my opinion the 8s are the most beautiful design that BMW ever put out - I've owned 2 of them, a '91 850I (Blue) and a '93 850CI (Black w/a.c. schnitzers) - used as weekend drivers and 4000+ mile trips to the West Coast and back. Would still have the '93 but at almost 20 years of age components were giving warnings of bad (expensive) things to come (but I sure loved that car..)

They are definitely unique, and we really dig em!

Did some suspension work on one for a client that had 23k miles on it, and was in BMW's Zentrum in SC for a few years.

Amazing how new e31s still look, considering they're over 20 years old now!

loving the combo. hardly noticeable that it's 20 years old, the wheels just shed more years off it!
