Your opinion on "Bodykits"

What are your opinion of aftermarket bodykits for a BMW or any sort?

I am more of a fan of subtle looks on cars generally, so I rarely see an aftermarket body kit that I like. I also don't like really big wheels that are so in vogue today. My E39 M5 was bone stock, and my E92 M3 has only the slightest of mods but zero body stuff. The car just looks good from the factory imo.

I'm not sure about an entire body kit, but there is a ton of aftermarket stuff for the E46/E9X platform that's looks tasteful if done right. Def don't buy cheap replica stuff for M's.

I totally agree with you on that. Rims and exhaust are pretty much the only exceptions that can be modified.

Subtle additions like a front lip can be OK but if your talking replacing body panels thats a big heck NO.
