Hey guys,
We were on the waitlist for the e60 m5 and got a call the other day asking if we want to give our final deposit and determine the options etc. We said yes but on the third call with the dealer, were "reminided" of a premium of 15-20k on top of the msrp. Not really sure if we're going to get it now but wanted to know what premiums you guys have heard of/are paying for this car.

that's wayyy too much. the car will not be that exclusive, i'd wait a lil while and pay sticker. i can understand paying a premium for an f430, but an m5? that's just my opinion.

There are some dealers that won't charge a premium, but most of their allocation is taken for the next 3 years or so. I'm #14, so next spring or summer, but trying to get individual options!, so maybe longer.

I'll give it 6 months or so, I have a feeling that BMW will overproduce these, so there'll be plenty... but who knows?

I paid 5k for week 42. Two dealers in San Diego want 20% over on week 42 cars. Ebay guy is getting 15k for week 44, and 10k for week 48. 18 month min. wait if you want to pay MSRP in So Cal.
