Hi guys, I am a panamera owner looking to switch camps. the M5 builder seems to be down, is this car no longer in production or this just a website update? Any info would be great.

Anyone who has made this change I would love to hear your comments on the two cars. Thanks.

Site problem most likely. M5 isn't going anywherrreeee.
I just got my 2014 M5 w/ Competition Package 2 days ago (had a 2013 M5 a year ago), love it.
I love BMW 5 series... they are making such great cars.
2011 BMW 550i - loved it.
2013 BMW M5 - loved it even more.
2014 BMW M5 w/ CompPack - FREAKING AMAZING.

I cannot think of any other car that is better in this class of sporty, sedan, luxury. This does it all and more.
Fack Mercedes and their intrusive traction control - taking the fun out of driving. I just dumped my 2013 Merc ML63 2 days ago.

I just realized I've owned 7 BMW's so far.

2003 BMW M3
2008 BMW 335i Coupe
2008 BMW 335i Sedan
2005 BMW M3 (still have it)
2011 BMW 550i
2013 BMW M5
2014 BMW M5

Tho I've had some Merc's too:

2004 MBZ SL55
2005 MBZ E55
2009 MBZ SL63
2009 MBZ E350
2013 MBZ ML63

Also had some Porsches, I would definitely say to stay on the BMW side of the fence... I don't know what other makes you are considering v.s. the BMW.

 

I've heard the M5 is a great car, although sometimes some have felt it could have been a little better.

The Panamera has gotten lots of high praise, esp the GTS and Turbo. In fact, I'm looking into a 2012-13 Turbo as the next ride maybe but keeping my options open.
