i have a 2013 535xi and was looking into the dinan stage I kit to increase HP and torque by roughly 75 each. Has anyone used dinan for a flash and can anyone comment on the reliability long term and if my engine is going to blow up one day? How does the warranty work? Is it worth 2k?

I had it on my 2010 E60 535i and it was a big improvement. I only kept the car about two months after I got the tune because I traded it for a 2013 M5 which I have now and I have Dinan Stage 2 on this. I felt a huge difference with the stage 2 tune on the N54 engine and I think it will be the same for the N55. It's not as noticable on the s63tu but this is a monster engine to begin with. However, Dinan stands behind it's product as I had to have them replace the DTronics module and it cost me nothing for labor or parts. I had everything done at my BMW dealership on both cars. It's well worth the money on the 535 for the gains you get.
