Yes the rumour (sp?) is that the E90 M3 will get a high reving V8. Basiclly the same engine as the M5/M6 with 2 cylinders less. Around 400bhp.

The 335i is almost as fast as the E46 M3

So with 27bhp less and 35nm more (compared to the NA spec M3) it definately is almost as fast as the M. In a straight line that is....

Mmmm.... yes... sure almost as fast. M3 is 4.8 secs to 60 mph. Is this like saying that a 997S is almost as fast as the 997TT? 4.4 secs to the turbos 3.8~ sec? Buhbye now.
