Our family just added the Cayenne Turbo S into our stable. The difference between these cars are quite evident. I feel the 4.8 is the sportier and more athletic feeling of the two. The 4.8 is more raw, not as refined, rides much harder, interior is more dated and it feels a lot slower then the turbo S. However, for the price of the X5, the value is unbeatable. The Turbo is more the luxury crotch rocket that has a balance between luxury and sport. The X5 is all sport. I now have 81,XXX on the X5 with no problems at all, I hope the Cayenne will be just as reliable.
