BMW's respect is where you have the M badge on your car's ***. Anything else, not my cup of tea.

I know it's not an M3, but still...
Because an M will always be an M and you should know that.......

well to us enthusiasts, there is a difference, and we'd probably buy the M. But to a majority of M3 owners (at least around where I live) they would rather have a newer car.

I never had any luck w/ first year production BMW's... and now top that with their new twin turbo's... i'll pass for a few years. The "M" badge still gives you bragging rights and the e46 looks like the last year of good looking 3 series lines.

So with that said, buy my CB/Gray '04 M3 w/ 17,000miles from me ..thought i would ask

compare e90 335i to e46 m3 is just like comparing e46 330ci to e36 m3. to most m3 owner, speed is not all they talk about.

history has a funny way to repeat itself.

true, but selling my e36 m3 and getting 335i as daily driver.
i think it's a really refined car and amazing comfort for a car in this catagory.

Jhuanger629,

i see you are located abouts Santa Ana. My brother is selling his M3 in CA. but i think it's mid 30s. the car is far more loaded and lesser miles.
02 m3 silver/imola red with 40k miles.
it has navigation, prem. xenon and Comp. pkg wheels (not replica).
hit me up DGTLM3 if you are interested in it and i can relay the message to my brother.

Wow. I didn't think E46's would be so cheap so fast. Shopping for a CPO'd Carbon Black on black with Navi. Looking to spend low $30's. I would appreciated if you guys would notify me if any pop up.

We'll be ready to buy in about two months.
