Automatic tranny on BMW E90

This may be a retarded question, but I noticed on my wifes E90 that the little orange light in "P" on the automatic tranny lights up... All the time. Even when the car is turned off etc.

Anyone else notice this?

Morgan

Hmm, yeah thats what I thought but it seems constant. Would it make a difference if the light switc was moved over to regular driving lights, instead of the "low beam" day driving thing... Hmm..
