nope. mine is an authentic CSL Alcantara wheel with the M sport botton. i just removed the upper half of the wheel and retrofitted it with the oem non-csl upper portion so i can still use my radio and cruise control. besides my car does not support the M sport botton as i dotn have a csl nor zcp options on my car. i still have the oem csl upper portion at home with one button.

Very clean E46, instead of going through all that trouble getting CSL OEM steering wheel , you should have bought this.

yeah i saw that that actually a 330 zcp sport wheel. if you look real close it does not have the ///M tri-colored stitching. also they wanted an extra $275 for the the SMG paddles. from what i heard from others, swapping out SMG paddles to an non-smg wheel is a PITA as it requires alot of dremel work. so.. i opted for the real deal. anycase, i was able to sell my leather m3 wheel + SMG paddles for $350 so.... overal the entire swap was just under $300 for me.

Can you give us a quick review of the Sequential M Gear Box, I was looking at buying a 2002 Bmw M3 with Smg, navigation and etc, But stupid dealer wouldn't let me get a test drive. I heard the car jolts forward if you shift gears WOT.

What kind of seats are those? Where you get them?

the SMG is something you have to learn. just like driving a manual tranny the first time, you have to get to know the quirks of the SMG. since the SMG can shift as fast as 50ms in S6 mode, there is a "cluck" when shifting from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to third. thats basicly like power shifting in a manual tranny as fast as humanly possilbe and just popping the clutch i suggest you find a used car lot and test drive a SMG there. but, the overall feeling of control is there on the track since you can keep both hands on the wheel and use the paddles to shift. also rev match downshift (blip) is amazing..

ohh my seats. they are from a CSL. i did the full interior swap last year. its basicly similar to a Recaro Pole Position but with reclining lever so passengers can enter the rear seats.

Any engine mods? What mode do you drive your car in? S5?
