That car must pull like crazy, thats more HP then the 996 GT3. Realibity is also a issue for a heavily modified NA engine.

BMW Motorsport got 440 bhp out of a full race prepped S54B32 with open exhaust, race fuel and Motorsport ECU.

So with 415 bhp on DynoJet being equivalent to 332 bhp in the rest of the world, quite believable.

104 octane GHEYNESS!. Sure you can make this much power only if your run 5 dollar a gallon gas. Oh btw, dont exceed 5k rpm on pump, you will blow the engine. What BS

That definitely changes a lot of interested buyers' minds...
It did mine! I was looking closely at it but out here in N. Calif. its 91 "or the highway".

from the looks of your stable, you shouldn't have any problem buying 50 gallon drums of VP Race fuel every month

So much hassle to have a N/A M3 with 415 hp? Not worth it IMO.

Newbies to the E46 M3, probably wouldn't know. That car is also known as BHS M3. Dyno sheets and vids are all over m3forum long time ago. Yes, that was when Scott(Divextreme) haven't got his 996 TT and supra. Long time ago. Here are some of the clips that I could find. There are some magazine articles about that car.

Here's Scott(Drivextreme)'s supercharged Stage 2 M3 vs BHS M3
http://videos.streetfire.net/search/...9f00d233ff.htm

Bimmer Magazine shoot of 3 of the fastest M3(considered at that time anyway). BHS M3 was in there.

What makes you think M3s are so competitive against GT3s in any racings? If you want you could even buy the entire S54 engine 435HP version from here.

Not to mention M3 GTRs are ***** slapping porshces left and right so hard that FIA had to ban them since it's seems almost unfair for teams that uses P-cars. So, BMW went back to straight 6s aka S54s and still competitive and dominated. Just search on google about M3 GTRs and PTG M3s.

Some people considered S54 as one of the finest engines to be produced by the BMW since it's their last of the famous straight 6 configuration which BMW started making in WW2 fighter airplanes. So many awards won, http://www.ukintpress.com/engineofth...nners/3_4.html Oh well, we'll see about their new V8s and 10s as time goes on.
