Am I the only one that doesn't like it? I really think BMW is going down the crapper with all their designs. The interior looks cheap and the outside looks ricey. I'm glad I had an E46 M3 and didn't bother waiting for this thing...

 

I don't know about all the fuss, I love every detail about this little monster ......................

 

i don't love the looks as much the E46 M3 - it's more modern, but it just doesn't make me all giddy looking at it and the E46 M3 still does that

 

I really like it alot. Can't wait to see one in person and see how it performs.

 

the car doesnt excite the senses. the interior looks like pure crap. the exterior i would give maybe a 7 out of 10. Porsche still remains one of the only few companies that can deliver cars that make you weak in the knees and eyes because they are soo sexy and remain the benchmark.

 

Well said! I totally agree with you.
Porsche still holds their own traditional style and doesn't go by trend like most automakers do. I think that is the reason why they've grown so much and still hold that timeless magic in all their cars, the same way they did when they first started out.

 

amen to that borther! i know this was discussed a while ago, but Porsche is just soooo great at the little stuff too. i mean i love the M3, i have one, but to stay with the competition(Porsche, ferrari, etc) they have gone from e36 to e46 to e92 and have raised the hp by almost 200 hp! over the last 3 generations Porsches hp has increased by well less than that (about 75 hp) and yet will rework ratios between gears, make the car more aerodynamic, work on the small details about the car. bmw and audi are too caught up in the numbers game to me. its not all about hp output but a combination of factors that make the 997S or the 997TT or 997GT3 all superior cars. the new m3 is likely to run close in terms of straight line accel as the carrera s, but it will have to have a good 60 hp more to do so. wheres the engineering in that? they have a heftier car that wont handle nearly as well and isnt visually captivating either. they need to hire Porsche as consultants, because their new cars are just not cutting it.

 

I like it and can't wait to see it...I do miss my M though...wish I could have both!

 

I've noticed that the most of the people that don't like it are the ones with E46's?? I for one love it.
