so i have an m3 with a full SS race system from the headers back which includes VII headers, race cats, non resonated x pipe and SS race exhaust. my car WILL NOT pass inspection because when i had myflash from powerchip, the OBDII would read 'not ready', then i get the chip flashed to factory and now i get a SES light for cats being 'below threshold' (code P0430). every inspection place tells me they cannot pass me with a SES light even though the OBDII reads 'ready' now. can i just go to an inspection place and pay to get a sticker as a friend of mine suggested? how do u guys with m3s or any other car get past inspection with these issues? any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

 

Find a local bmw guy who will let you install his stock exhaust for the test?
