I'm 30 and single but i don't really mind it. I enjoy the car. Unfortunately i get about 8-9 m.p.g which sucks. I don't know how you get 17 m.p.g

 

nice, i am looking at various bmw cars, from a track e46 car to a preowned m5, any changes in the 2008 m5 ?

 

The 2008 M5 (5 series in general) have new LED tail lights and a redesigned headlight. They're most likely going to be easily "update-able" from the pre-08.

The LED tails look like the horizontal bars in the e39 but it's arranged circular around the center brake light.

The headlight has bright "angel eyes" for day time driving as well as a lit "eye brow" that's also a lot brighter than the pre-08. I'm not sure this will be worth a 1.5-2k upgrade. The tail lights will probably be sold for like 500-600 bucks from the dealer.

We've been playing with the E60 M's a lot lately. Wait until you start messing with the headers/exhaust/software/pulleys, it's a BEAST!!

Sick car. I love the new LED tail lights. I would take one in Alpine White with Indianapolis red interior with carbon fiber trim. Ahhh....dreams, dreams. Hopefully one day, it will come true!

My buddy has, I think, the only 6 speed manual here in LA (or at least it was the first delivered) and he can't seem to get better than 10 mpg. He says the M5 makes his Magnum SRT8 look like a Prius!
