Say, hypothetically I would be buying or selling a 99-01 boxster with a 996 3.4 swap with lowered compression via pistons, not head gaskets) and a nice clean single turbo setup using an air to water IC system. Car has some suspension and body mods and some nice wheels. I would call it 8 out of 10 on the clean side of things as it does get driven ALOT. Car has between 50-60K on the “car” and about 20K miles on the motor. Power is up there in the 500+ area and could go more with further work…600….650…? Who really knows?

Anyway, what would you think something like this would be worth?

$25k tops. A car with a motor like that will have been driven hard, that's what it's for. The motor is probably on its last legs with that many miles on it, the chassis likewise will have been through the ringer. I'd offer like $22k and keep $25-30k in reserve to put it back into good shape.
