Litronic automatic height adjustment ... any problems?

I recently bought an '05 Boxster S and noticed when I drive with the headlights on the beams raise up when I accellerate then go down when I shift to the next gear; each successive gear accelleration/shift does the same thing. I was convinced that there must be something wrong with them so I took them to the dealer (Rusnak-Westlake, CA). They drove it, then say they drove another Boxster which supposedly exhibited the same headlight issue. The service tech supposedly called the manufacturer and this is allegedly normal operation. I'm worried about it being a safety issue for oncoming traffic. Anyone else have this issue with the litronic headlights?

Jex,

I noticed that the beam slightly goes upward when hard acceleration. I don't think i have litronic but how does one goes about determine it?
