My Cayman Was Destroyed Today

My Rinspeed Imola Cayman S was destroyed today.

Guy in a Volvo SUV ran a red and T-Boned my car.

He wrecked my front end and threw me into another car that wrecked my back end.

The Cayman S is cannot be salvaged. (I suspect his insurance company will contest that claim.)

I am mad beyond belief: my car is destroyed and I had to spend a couple hours in the emergency room.

The guy never even asked if I was okay. He just ran off to the other side of the block.

Regards,

ONE MADE PORSCHE OWNER.

orlando333,

Glad you are ok and luckily you weren't hurt too bad and could leave the emergency room.
Count your blessings!
Sorry to hear about your Cayman S though. That hurts.

Thanks Guys.

I am just thankful it was my Cayman S.

My 996 TT is nice and safe in my garage.

The Cayman is butchered and battered, much like my body -- the meds they give you put you on Planet 9.

orlando333,

sorry to hear that, the best thing come out this is that you are okay. Consider that the were t-bone. I think you will feel the pain later, give it about 2 weeks then the real pain kicks in.

if the other insurance doens't pay up, i think u can fight with your insurance to get full value of the car. You might have to use your collision policy to cover that.

Sorry to hear about your car and I'm glad to hear you are ok! Don't worry about the car let your insurance company deal with that. I know exactly how you are feeling right now, my car was totaled 2 weeks ago.

Keep us posted. I wonder how the insurance company is going to handle the mods, they gave me zero for my PSE.
