I just purchased a 98 Boxster and the gauge cluster is in MPH. Around here we use KMH and I was wondering if there is a way to set the digital speedo to KMH. Thanks!

 

Yes there is, I'm just your local porsche dealer can change the software.
It is done on tons of P-Cars that come from the States to Canada.
My old and upcoming Cayennes included.

I found out how to do it... turn ignition to "On" and then turn the **** thats used to adjust the clock setting to the left for like 3 seconds.

 

Hi Axis. I was just going to tell you that. Every boxster does that. Just hold the clock dial to the left for a few seconds and the digital readout will switch from metric to imperial.

Our American friends can try it out and make it look like they are going really fast lol... OMG my car does 250 look out Veyron!!!
