About to buy Cayman

Well I have made the decision to purchase a Cayman, after owning many BMW's, I think it is time to move on.

I have a few questions before I do it.
  • First, the one I will be purchasing has no Xenons. Is it east to retrofit?
  • Second, How much does the 3 spoke Carrera? Steering wheel cost?
  • Lastly it is an 07 with 12,000 miles. I am getting it for $39,000, OTD for $42,000. Is that a good deal. It seems to be base. Can anyone decode the vin to see the options? WP0AA29897U760971

its sounds pretty good. here is one that was for sale (contact eric@bumperplugs) it might still be for sale. it was an 07 or 08 cayman with 4K miles, and an original sticker of 65 for 45K and had 19s, lots of carbon fiber, painter console, 6mt, and a bunch of other stuff. cobalt blue over black.

Personally, I think all Porsche should come stock with Xenon headlamps..Heck for that matter all 'luxury' cars should come standard with it. It just looks funny with stock halogens.

I Agree. xenon lights are a must for 30k plus cars.

I agree. If Honda can swing stock HID's for the S2000, why not Porsche
