Optima Batteries

Anyone know if they sell Optima batteries for a Porsche? I don't see any listed on optima's website...and where I can get one in NYC as well. Thanks

Check out Performance Products website,I know they sell them. I think you have to have a custom plate to mount it to the car though.

Sam's Club sells them as well.

GMG Racing has an Optima battery tray that might work.

Damn,it's not even worth it do to the cost of the tray.

$375 not including install for a tray and battery......that's 4-6 normal batteries, pending on which you want.

Optima batteries are not holding their charge. My Audi would'nt start in 3 degree F after skiing yesterday. This is the 2nd time this has happened (VW Camper). The Auto Center at Sears said lots of them have been returned. I got full credit for the Optima return. IMO beware they are not what they are cracked up to be.

I just got a battery from Autozone...$130 and 8yrs of warranty....better than Porsche's $500 battery. In my opinion, a battery is a battery.
