Clear film installation on my Cayman S

My 2008 Meteor Gray Cayman S was picked up last November. After several missed appointments back in December due to ice/snow (no winter tires yet!) I finally made it to site sponsor Detailing Dynamics today.

Good thing I had to wait since they just announced the 15% discount for 6-speed members!

The car already had a dealer installed kit, but I was looking for additional coverage behind the rear wheel arches, side sills.

Eddie pointed out some coverage issues with the kit and in the end I got both the front and rear wheel arches done, the entire side sill up to the intake grills. The standard Porsche "shark-fin" piece was replaced too. I also got the gas cap covered. I'm in New Jersey a lot and I can't help but cringe everytime a gas attendant jabs the door open. There is no self service gas in NJ.

The installation was excellent and I had a very hard time even finding the seams. Eddie, Matt and his crew are real pros with this stuff.

On to pictures of the work!

I''m very tempted to have them redo the front completely now!

A few more.

I'll get some close up pictures of the film in sunlight once the weather clears up here in NY.
