Agency Power has finished their new Porsche Boxster 986 Cold Air Intake Kit. The intake features a K&N high flow cone filter, CNC machined MAF housing, aluminum intake pipe, and custom heat shield with brackets. The intake removes the factory air box and snorkel system. The drivers side intake vent now directs air right on to the K&N filter to add horsepower and torque. The intake kits will be available in black as pictured (powdercoat) and will include directions to the complicated but fun process of removing your factory air box. A direct replacement.

I have personally driven 2 cars with this kit installed on them. The first a manual Boxster S. The 2nd a TipTronic Boxster S. First thing noticeable is the sound. The open air intake sounds really cool. Both cars were much more responsive under throttle. You could feel the cars really pick up from mid to high RPM. The manual car had an exhaust so it helped it breathe better as the factory exhaust stuffs up the system. Custom tuning the ECU for the Intake will definitely bring out more power.

We have tested these intakes on the street and dyno. Using the same procedures from our successful 996 Turbo system we have NO Check Engine Light Issues. All Agency Power parts come with a 90 day warranty as well.

quick question, the gains stated from the dyno (6/8hp and 5/6tq), is that the intake only, or the combination of the intake and ecu flash? thanks!
