This is my wife's LE Boxster S. The quality of the ceramic coating is superb. No flaking or blueing. Decided to have it done to my Cayman S's Cargraphic tips as well. Here's another photo of the LE Boxster S w/ some wheel trim done by Orbit Racing in West Palm Beach.

I saw a LE in the showroom this week. I like it. But... what struck me in the first photo on this thread is the diffuser. If it is not REALLY functional and part of the original design, I find it just looks busy.

Just my 2 cents. It wouldn't change my mind from buying this model.

Nice combo for sure.

Did you know we have black diamond tips for Cayman/Boxster?

Anyone considering exhaust, have a look at our system.

Hi Mr993,

I would prefer to PM this to you but I am new here and dont have enough posts yet.

I have the same Orange Boxster and I was curious about getting some details about this black coating process. How much would it cost? How would I do it logistically? Detach my tips mail them to you and then get them back? I live in Raleigh, NC. How long would it take?

Is detaching the tips simple to do? I'm a computer nerd not a mechanic so it'll be a new experience for me

Thanks for your time!

-Peter

Looks awesome, I had my entire exhaust powdercoated black. Especially since my 986 is guards red, it stands out. Powdercoating my exhaust only set me back $150, plus you can have it in gloss or matte black as well. Mine is in semi-gloss, I'll post pix soon.

Tony, if you want I can pick up the tips for you and send them to Bill.

Good to hear you are really enjoying the Cargraphic power kit.
