this car belongs to a customer, we did the coating of the tips, I love the combo myself.

Is powder coating safe/durable to do on the exhaust? Given the heat?

also... what are your feelings about powder coating wheels? I thinking about powder coating my carrera s wheels (and thought to match the exhaust tips too) whats your feelings about this?

Is there anything unique or special in the powder coating process that must be considered?

we use ceramic on the exhaust, as the powdercoating just doesn't have the durability. satin black ceramic is what was used on the orange boxster, this product is good up to 1800 degrees and is baked on and will not come off..on the other hand powdercoating works great for all the other stuff, wheels,grills, rollbars .. we do both.

Matt we only offer the satin, tried the gloss stuff and we don't trust or like it. TK6 I will be talking with you Monday, and Sal next time i get the chance i'll get some more pics, the car is really nice.
