Tinted taillights

At one time I had tinted or better said...Blacked out taillights. I have thought of doing it again this time just a light tint.

Or just tinting the clear portion and leaving the red there.

Either way I go I will tint my 3rd brake light also.

Here is a picture with the light "blacked out"

The effect I am thinking of is a lighter tint than in the picture.
Or just tinting the clear part as in the attached picture.

Opinions???

PS.
Thanks Turbo Mike for the use of your tail in my thread.

i personally like the blacked out look. it gives it a very "mean" appearance.

i think i lighter tint looks a tad better than all dark black. just MO. but then again, i have pink calipers! lol!

looks good!

don't use film tint... thats crap and will end up fading and peeling eventually. Have a professional painter black them out with real high quality paint. It will look a lot better.
