Boxster or cayman ???

What makes someone choose a boxster over a Cayman? just my 2 Cents but the Cayman has( what the F is that!!) Supercar Lines .The Boxster Is cool looking but does not turn Heads like it use too when it first came out .Just Being Real here. But why buy boxster over Cayman?

djmiroku

I can See that being a Reason ..Especially after last weekends weather In seattle WHEW 91 Degrees ? I would have traded my cayman for the pumpkin.I think Porsche really nailed it with that color .maybe porsche will make a pumpkin Cayman? Saw a bone stock Merlot looking Cayman last weekend and It was refreshing to see a different color but the Orange is the Bomb in my opinion .You that have the pumpkin Le are Lucky Devils!!!

I was actually shopping for a Boxster and ended up with a Cayman S. As Porschepet mentioned the lines are just so much better. Had to go with the Cayman.

There's nothing that comes close to driving with the top down. I've driven both and they each have their own distinctive advantages. When the top is down on a Boxster that has been lowered, to me it's a better looking car. If you are going to do a fair amount of tracking, the Cayman S would be a better choice because of the extra stiffness and no soft top.

I agree, nothing better than being able to put the top down on a beautiful day and hear the sweet note of the exhaust as you roar through a tunnel at wot

Wink

For me I was looking at used cars so the lesser expense was attractive, but after driving with the top down, I was hooked.

Definitely because I wanted a open top roadster! Nothing beats the wind in the air plus the growl of the 3.4 boxer engine!

Who cares if people look more & admire more the Cayman? I do not blame them!

But its me who I am smiling each time I drive my ride, not them!

Plus here in Malta 99.9999% of my driving is topless! The 0.00001% is because its raining! Not much here!

Lucky me!

i have to agree! top down driving is FTW! plus, if you autox it's nice to hear the engine! vroooom! oh...and going through tunnels! woohoo! get the sport exhaust and rev it up in the tunnels around here in seattle and it's a great feeling!

plus, you can always add a body kit to make it look a bit thicker! even just a GT3 front end gives it a great face lift! wheels/tires make a huge difference too!
