Hi guys/gals,

I was hoping that someone had some pictures of their boxster/cayman with racing stripes? i know people either love the look or hate it, but it's something that i'm considering on my boxster just to give her a different look. i just bought black GT3 racaro race seats yesterday! =D

so...thank you in advance if you have pictures! and if you do have the stripes....where did you purchase them?

You can get a rough idea by checking out the Cayman Design Edition - very subtle stripes, which by the way can be purchased separately.

are those the black matte colored ones? i like that look. i know others don't so much, but it's all in the eye of the beholder i guess. =)

i would love to see other car colors....stripe colors.....widths of stripes....etc.

And yes i seen the Porsche Cayman S Porsche Design.. looks hawt.. Matte black stickers on them but thats on a black car so it looks fierce yet elegant..

hey i think u can go to your local custom decal shops to do whatever u fancy rather sticking to a set of fixed designs to choose from.

Play ard with photoshop and and choose from there..

^^that's a good idea. then you can custom choose your color, outline color, size, etc.

Good point - anyone who makes signs can do them up, and you can take them off if your like.

I think you should do a meteor gray tone on a silver car. Or pink, since that'll tie in. dont do black, they'll stand out and clash too much with what you already have going on.

i think your car would look awesome with matte silver stripes (like the porschedesign black one)... exact same but with a matte silver

so what are you guys thinking? 2 wide stripes down the middle? one stripe? maybe one wide and one narrow off to the side of the hood and trunk? seems like everyone is voting for the matte silver/gray. =)

here's the PD Cayman... something similar... (maybe just 2 stripes, not 3?)

If you know someone who is good with Photoshop I'd get them to play around with some options for you...you might be surprised what looks good and what does not.

This is the look I'm trying for on my silver Boxster.





Thinking about red seat covers for the Sparco's and one or a pair of red stripes down the middle. Also, maybe black skirts. Don't think I'll go for the red wheel stripe though.
