Which Exhaust - Help!

Hi,

I have a Boxster S 3.2, 987 and there seem to be various posts on the different exhausts, however I don't seem to be able to find a consistent answer.

I am looking for an exhaust with the most power gain - obviously :-), cat back probably and definately NOT noisy, just a nice sporty sound with no resonance or drone. Am I asking too much, is it possible with the current exhausts available?

Thanks in advance.

most exhausts on the cayman S/boxster S seem to yielf ~15-20 RWHP.

i have remus and def felt the difference. k-man-s on cayman club just laid down 331 rwhp on his cayman S with only bolt ons and software!

i like remus the most...has a more high pitched tone...awe is pretty good, and capristo and kreis seig are sick as well.

Have you considered Cargraphic? I just put the cat back system on my 06 Cayman S and absolutely love it. The car has a nice deep throaty sound to it now.

Aren't the Cargraphic and Capristo much more expensive than say the AWE or Remus?

I've been eying a Cayman S for a lil while, so im absorbing as much info as possible.

Maybe go to youtube and listen to some Exhaust videos .There are lots of choices and then you can research the HP gains .Seems like the louder ones have more HP increase though .

Hard to stay quit and gain power with just exhaust. I've found the AWE to be fairly mild with good build quality. Miltek is also nice, but I dont know what they have for the Boxster.

good idea! you can hear them at idle, and while they are driving. that's what we did before we bought the fabspeed bypass for the 996. we wanted noisy though. lol!

good luck in your search! i'm sure you'll find something out there that you'll be happy with!
