TC in NJ is infamous around these parts
I always wave at all other P-cars and often get a wave back.

I usually don't wave because most people do that...

just drop your pants and press your *** cheeks against the window...that way they'll never forget your car they saw. [warning: only attempt with professional training when driving. this works best if you're at a stop light.]

anyway i know what you mean, but don't force anything [like the above] by waving to no one. if you're cruising by them it becomes obvious if they are looking at your car or not. proper etiquette would suggest you be a normal driver and acknowledge them in some cases or let the person drive on in other cases. its actually quite simple.

I am in upstate NY and I can go days and days without seeing another P car, let alone wave. I did have a Corvette driver wave at me one day, maybe he was confused or he might just be a really friendly guy.

Not too much reaction from owners around here.

When I am in my STi, it seems like every subaru owner waves, honks, or flashes headlights.
I have very seldom had this in my Porsche from other owners.

Generally, I will give the thumbs up to other Porsche owners, and if I'm driving one of my Porsches, I usually get some kind of response.

What is interesting, however, is if I'm not driving a Porsche, I usually don't get a response back from the Porsche owner...not even a smile or a head nod! I think thats pretty funny and sad at the same time. No wonder a lot of people think Porsche owners are @sses.
