Boxster Weekend - Lake Placid June 19-21
Hi Folks - we're putting together a fantastic Northeast Boxster lovers weekend in Lake Placid. June 26, 27, 28 (Date change to avoid Father's Day).
Boxsters mostly, all Porsche models welcome!

I'm organizing the event as a follow-up to last year's successful gathering at The Sagamore (which was pricey!) this time around, much more affordable, many more cars and way more fun.

We'd love to have you! TSBL stands for Tri-State Boxster Lovers - and we wind up with Porsches of all kinds - couple of 997s, GT3s, Turbos and a lot of Boxsters!
We had a sweet RS60 from MD at last year's event in Lake George.
One guy from Ontario is coming, as are many from NY, MA, CT, NJ and PA

Only 3.5hrs from Ottawa, Ontario to Lake Placid, NY.
Spoke to my wife, you might have two Canadians heading down.
The resort looks great!
What does this weekend usually entail? Can people join up Saturday morning?

so does that mean the hotel is full?
the mirror lake lodge is accross the street; what was a hilton is pretty much kitty corner and another chain one just 30 seconds up the hill

Nah - not full at all - we've got plenty of rooms, and can reserve more at the group rate as it grows. There is a Hilton across the street, and plenty of other joints...

Her uncle passed away from Lung Cancer on Friday, March 20, 2009 (I had registered on the website Thursday and was actually going to call the Hotel to make room reservations when I got the call Friday morning). His memorial BBQ is scheduled for Saturday, June 27th Southwest of Ottawa.
My wife knew how much I wanted to attend this event so SHE proposed that we go down Friday, stay one night, participate in the morning events, and then motor back to Canada for the BBQ.
Will call the hotel to reserve our room this week. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
