For years I've groaned at technology related inaccuracies in film. I think seeing Dell boxes in Terminator 3 in the 1950s underground bunker with ancient computers was the high point.There are points where you'd do that in this film, but there's also points where you would actually feel like the characters truly represent what being a car enthusiast is about. If you look at it as just another movie with the normal high and low points, you'll enjoy it. Even non-car people liked it.
And what's interesting about the Fast and Furious series is that these are the only films that connect the car community with the everyday public. There's a lot that's said about the accuracies, funny lines, and story lines, but no one talks about how these films are keeping the enthusiast community alive and growing.

movie was easily 5x better than i thought it'd be... it's not saying much because I wasn't expecting an oscar winning performance from Paul Walker and Vin Diesel, but it was definitely worth the 7 dollars i spent to ditch work and watch it during lunch.
as far as the cayman, it got a lot more screen time than i had anticipated after reading about it in this thread. the setup is nice, but it's a bit over the top for me. in my opinion, nothing should look as unworldly as the Techart GT setup without 450rwhp to boot.
